Academic internships are for undergraduate university students who are seeking to fulfill an internship requirement for academic credit. These students are typically majoring in Human Development and Family Studies, psychology, or other relevant fields, and are preparing to pursue a career in mental health as therapists themselves.
We typically take one intern per semester, and strive to offer as much education, mentorship, and support as possible as you prepare for your next steps professionally. You will get to learn about and participate in the inner-workings of a group practice and connect with our therapists and other staff regularly.

- Answering phones, responding to messages
- Responding to inquiries, scheduling new clients
- Managing scheduling for therapists
- Coordinating between therapists, staff, clients, and others on a variety of tasks
- Helping keep the office neat and presentable, supplies stocked/organized, etc.
- Helping create, execute, and manage various marketing projects, including via social media, distributing physical marketing materials, and in-person events
- Other projects and tasks based on your interests, skills, and goals
