Alex Kaeppler, LMFTA (he/him/his)I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist as well as a PhD student in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences at Auburn University where I specialize in the study of anxiety and depression. During the 2020-2021 school year, I worked as a therapist in the Auburn City Schools and met with children ages 10-18 as well as their families. In addition to working with children and families, I have experience in treating couples, college students, and individuals from minority or marginalized communities (e.g., LGBTQ+ clients) as well as people who struggle with addiction, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, suicidal ideation, self-harming behaviors, and personality disorders.
