My profession is a pleasure, because dietitians witness clients as they transform into healthier, happier people. I have over 30 years’ experience in the dietetics field. I am a wife, mother, and grandmother who adores cooking for my large family and learning Pilates.

My experience includes working for dairy farmers across the southeast serving as Director of Food and Nutrition Outreach for The Dairy Alliance; I even served as the National Dairy Council Ambassador. I’ve been interviewed for hundreds of print and media interviews including WebMD, Cooking Light, Teen Vogue and Eating Well Magazine. I served as president of the Alabama Dietetic Association in 2015 and am currently President of the Auburn District Dietetic Association. 

I completed my bachelor’s degree from Samford University and my dietetic internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I earned a Master of Arts degree in Health Sciences and Kinesiology from Southeastern Louisiana University.

My husband, Dave and I like to hike and travel abroad to taste foods from other countries. But on most days, you will find us at home, grilling on the patio and feeding hummingbirds.​​
