Heather M. Smith, LMFT (she/her/hers)Heather is passionate about helping you discover your strengths, learn new skills, and make meaningful connections. She offers integrative, client-centered therapy that focuses on building safety, enhancing your skills and well-being, and helping you heal old wounds and move forward. She uses elements of Narrative, Structural, Experiential and Attachment-based therapies, as well as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).
Heather received her Bachelor's in Music and Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from BYU. She has worked in private practice, agency settings, and university-based clinics. She is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Heather is originally from Austin, TX, and is an avid gardener. She enjoys taste-testing her husband's culinary endeavors, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with her husband, sons, and two dogs, Bentley and Charlie.
